Hello! We had a great week! On Mon/Tues. we focused on the color red, and Wed/Thur we focused on the letter M.
On Mon/Tue we painted our feet red and listened to the book Llama Llama Red Pajama.
In our centers we colored our monthly nursery rhyme page (Roses are Red), put red circles on the letter A, strengthened our fine motor muscles by tearing red paper, glued the torn red paper unto pajamas, sorted color magnets on the white board.
On Wed/Thursday we focused on M and read If You Give a Moose a Muffin and then got to eat muffins.
In our centers we colored our M ABC page, counted to 1 with a muffin tin, traced the letter M, glued and counted blueberries on a muffin, used magnets on the letter M.
We also had our first chapel of the year and learned about the days of creation.
We had a great turnout for the DQ fundraiser! It was a fun night to see all of our ABC friends outside of school! Thank you for showing up and supporting our school!
Looking forward to next week as we have our first field trip of the year to Fair Oaks Farm! It should be fun!
