We had a great week! We ended at Fair Oaks and it seemed like everyone had a great time!

On Mon/Tuesday we worked on the numbers 0 and 1.

We read the book 10 Red Apples and did Name Rainbow writing.

In our centers we traced numbers 1-10, used a play doh mat to make and count to number #1, bear color patterns, a number 1 worksheet, and wooden number peg boards.

On Wed we all wore red to school and had fun with different things around the class! We read Clifford the Big Red Dog and got to play in the Big Room.

In our centers we practiced cutting with play doh and playdoh scissors, put together shape chain links, strung buttons, measured bears on a balance scale, and built with unifix cubes.

Thursday we ventured to Fair Oaks. Despite the confusion at the beginning I think everyone had a good time and it was nice to see the kids outside of school! I’m excited to hear how the kids liked it next week!

Have a great weekend! We’ll see you in October!
