The first week of school will be an exciting week for your child. Because they will have so many new routines to learn, I try to keep the activities fun.
To better prepare your child please go over with them how they will get taken out of the car by a teacher. A teacher will also make sure that they get to the correct classroom. Please make sure that they have their ABC bag with them. Not only will all important papers go home in this bag but it will help the teachers get them to the correct class.
The theme of the classroom is Pete the Cat. They will be making a Pete the Cat project the first day and hearing a Pete the Cat story. The project will come home on Wednesday or Thursday. Please make sure they are wearing shoes they can run in. We will be going outside as much as the weather allows!
If you have any concerns before the group me gets set up, send your child to school with a note.
